Here at V. Mora, we believe having the solidarity of one company to watch your product transform to reality is extremely beneficial. We will be your trained and trusted eye to watch your product develop from preliminary sketches to final production, with patterns, samples, and fabric/trim sourcing along the way. With a team of quick thinkers we respond quickly, and thoroughly, to challenges and work together to solve any problems that arise. Deadlines are a top priority. We are a group of trained professionals all with our own specialties, whether it be sourcing, patternmaking, technical design, or sample making. Not only do we have a great work ethic, but we work honestly and ego-free. We want you to be able to sleep at night knowing you are in good hands here at V. Mora!

Meet Our Team

Anna Livermore – Founder/Creative Director
V. Mora's Founder and Creative Director has been working hard over the years building a service that helps up and coming designers produce their dreams. With a grounded background as a buyer, Anna is able to bring to the table an eye for business. She has also excelled in the art of design, patternmaking, and sample making through her previous mentorship with highly experienced seamstresses. With an extreme focus for her clients she has turned her talents to helping others obtain their fashion design goals! With a keen eye for marketing, she is able to manage her team to efficiently produce products from start to finish in a driven and excited environment. Anna graduated in 2004 with a BFA in Fashion Design from Columbia College.

Julie Luther – Production Manager/Head Patternmaker
V. Mora's Head Patternmaker and Production Manager quickly gained experience working with top companies and private clients in both New York and the Midwest in patternmaking, technical design, and production management. In addition to her role as Head Patternmaker and Production Manager at V. Mora, she is also a fashion illustration instructor and the patternmaking instructor at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago where she also graduated with a BFA in Fashion Design in 2005. Her multi-faceted background has provided her with a keen eye for detail in garment construction.

Nadia Bochko – Head Sample Maker
Head Sample Maker Nadia contributes to our team over 40 years of experience in the fashion industry. Learning how to sew in Ukraine when she was just 9 years old she developed a passion for construction, which she discovered to be very therapeutic. She has experience with all industry machines including straight stitch, sergers, and coverstitch. She works well with all types of fabric such as wovens and knits plus her attitude, patience, and grace make her a pleasure to work with!

Tess Obermeier – Office Manager/Fabric Sourcing Manager
As the Office and Fabric Sourcing Manager, Tess has been a wonderful asset to V. Mora. Finishing up with her degree in Fashion Business at Columbia College this winter, plus multiple internships in New York has brought her recent knowledge of the trends to the company. Her cheery disposition allows clients to feel comfortable and confident that their needs will be taken care of. Her efficiency to respond to all matters helps keep the team on task.

Abi Campbell – Graphic Designer/Trim Sourcing Manager
V. Mora's Graphic Designer and Trim Sourcing Manager graduated in 2008 from Syracuse University with a BFA in Fashion Design. She headed straight to New York after school and gained three years of valuable experience in the design field with a focus on trim and sourcing. She has excellent knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Using her knowledge and skills, she was fortunate to find a great home with Anna and the team shortly after moving to Chicago this past September!

Emily Carlson – Assistant Patternmaker
As an Assistant Patternmaker here at V. Mora, Emily brings to our team valuable industry experience she gained within her multiple internships in the Chicago area. Working alongside Julie, our Head Patternmaker, she continues to build her knowledge and perfect her skills in the art of construction. Emily graduated from the Illinois Institute of Art-Chicago in September 2011 with a BFA in Fashion Design.

Ellen Jarl – Patternmaking Intern
Ellen is our newest addition to the V. Mora team. Having just graduated from Columbia College with a BFA in Fashion Design this past fall, she has an exciting attitude learning industry techniques in patternmaking. She brings a unique perspective to the studio and is very understanding of the demands required from the fashion industry. Everyday she gains more experience and has been a valuable asset to the team!
