Job Description

 

V.Mora is seeking an experienced pattern maker for first through production patterns. Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to:

  • Digital pattern making. Working on 1st patterns through production patterns using the Optitex system.
  • Assisting with patterns and sewing.
  • Attending fittings
  • Administrative tasks and project management.

 

Qualifications

 

-Must be personable and enjoy working as a team

– Highly organized, multi-task master and ability to meet deadlines is a must!

– Must be able to communicate efficiently with fellow team members to meet client’s needs.

-Thorough understanding of pattern-making process & fit/styling on live model

-Advanced experience with Optitex CAD software is a must.

Job Description

 

The Product Development Specialist Assistant helps clients develop their apparel cut/sew garments. They are hands on from beginning development through manufacturing. You will start by helping perfect the designs, then moving on to sourcing the various materials needed– fabric, trim, notions, and labels. You will need to communicate with pattern makers and contractors to help produce a final showroom and production sample. Once a garment is finalized then you will manage the client’s styles throughout the entire manufacturing process. This includes digitizing/grading the patterns, ordering production materials, overseeing the cut/sew process, and quality control. At V.Mora, it is the responsibility of the Product Development Specialist to meet with clients every week via in person, over the phone, or Skype to discuss your goals and to do’s.

 

Qualifications

 

-2-4 Years Experience

-College Graduate

-Proficient with Tech Packs/Spec Sheets

-Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop

-Understands Microsoft Office and Excel

-Must be personable, well-spoken and enjoy working with clients

Job Description

 

We are looking for a dynamic team player to join our staff in either the Chicago or New York Office. This role involves overseeing and having responsibility for all the activities in the organisation which contribute to the effective production and over-all success for the team.
  • Operations director will oversee website development.
  •  Operations director will oversee marketing including daily social media management and weekly newsletters.
  • Create annual schedule and marketing plan for trade shows.
  •  Creating an employment manual and standard operating procedure.
  • Operations director works fluidly between all teams at V.Mora to ensure that weekly objectives are being met and creating new objectives where necessary.
  • Work one on one with our Founder and CEO on business strategy.
  • Developing new programs for the company.
  • Create materials and marketing for new programs.
  •  Work with financial manager to review financial statements, sales and activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement.
  • Determine staffing requirements as needed, and interview, hire and train new employees, or oversee those personnel processes.
